Meet the team

I began my career in the beauty industry, over 20 years ago, training as a nail technician by the owner of Young nails UK, Steven Dodd. Shortly after training, at the age of 17 I started out on my own, with £400 in my bank account and a spot at a local salon, I began building my client base, and worked hard to build a reputation of being a perfectionist and producing high standards of work. Over many fantastic years in the industry and as our team grew, I decided it was time for a change. It was then that I came across an amazing lady called Karen Betts, owner of Nouveau Beauty Group, and the incredible work that she does for the Katie Piper Foundation, this sparked a desire to enter this field and I hoped one day I could also provide these incredible treatments that could help others. So in 2011 I began my journey into the world of Permanent makeup.

After 2 years in the Industry, my skills were recognized and I was invited to join the Nouveau Contour training team which later led on to being asked to work for the Katie Piper Foundation and perform treatments for burn survivors across the North West and Scotland. This part of the job I absolutely adore, there’s no better feeling than knowing you have helped someone to feel better about themselves.

Having held clinics in Harley Street and Mayfair, London, I am now concentrating all of my efforts in to the new Poulton location. Although Permanent Makeup and Micro-blading is now my passion, I will always love doing nails, and love catching up with some of my long standing clients that have been coming to me for over 15 years.

I love business, and helping others to achieve their goals in their careers, especially when it involves the beauty industry. I’d like everyone to know that anything is possible and if I can pass on the knowledge I’ve gained over the years in business through plenty of trial and error, it leaves me with a lovely sense of achievement.

Loren has been at Rebecca Jayne’s since the age of 15.

After leaving school and gaining an NVQ in Business, she came on board, working full time whilst also studying Business Studies, she perfected her skills in nails and built her client base and reputation.

Loren later went on to achieve NVQ Level 3 in nail services and Level 3 in Beauty Therapy as well as completing advanced private training in skincare with some of the biggest industry names including Million Dollar & Alumier MD.

Amongst her achievements, her perfectionist nature and ability to work fast under pressure is what has seen her being invited to work alongside top fashion designers and models at London fashion week, creating the latest looks for the catwalk.

Loren works incredibly hard to ensure the smooth running of the salon and achieve the best possible results for her clients.

It is so important to her that her clients are happy and her passion shows through her work. And she is a beautiful person inside and out.

She’s super creative and loves DIY craft projects as well as and all things skin care related!

After struggling with her own skin after suffering from adult acne she developed a passion for helping others with their skin concerns and this shows in her work with her clients.

Georgia’s passion for all things beauty became apparent to us when we had the pleasure of accommodating her for her work experience during her hair and makeup Diploma.

We loved her enthusiasm, the incredible amount of creativity she expressed and gentle nature, so when a position came available for our next trainee, we contacted her immediately.

Since joining us 6 years ago, Georgia has completed her Young nails qualification, NVQ Level 2 in nails and High Definition, Henna & brow lamination course.

Georgia is incredibly creative and a talented artist. This shows in her work within the salon.

She is a total perfectionist and loves to create beautiful brows for her clients.
