We want you to have a relaxing and comfortable experience every time you visit us. We carefully research and test each treatment we offer to give you the best possible results. Which is why our Pre-treatment advice is so important.
Before any treatment it’s important to know of any requirements or exclusions that may affect the treatment and results you can expect. Below you’ll find some information on what to know before booking.

Permanent makeup and microblading
Before booking, let us know if you answer ‘yes’ to any of the following:
- Are you under the age of 18?
- Are you pregnant or breastfeeding?
- Do you have any allergies or skin conditions?
- Do you have any other medical conditions?
- Are you taking any medication, including herbal remedies?
One week before your appointment make sure you have:
- It is critical to your treatment that you read through all the pre-treatment advice and aftercare advice sent via post
- Sign and send back all paperwork sent via email
- If you’re having a lip treatment and suffer from cold sores, start any recommended treatment prescribed by your doctor, or apply Zovirax 4 times a day for 4-5 days.
- Avoid sunbeds or tanning for at least a week before treatment. If you have a suntan on the day, it may not be possible to perform your treatment as the results can be compromised.
For the day of treatment:
- Avoid alcohol caffeine and Ibuprofen for 48 hours before your treatment.
- For permanent eyeliner or lash treatments, remove contact lenses and false lashes the day before. (You won’t need to remove contact lenses or lashes before a lip or brow treatment)
Leave plenty of time to get to your appointment, taking into consideration parking and traffic. If you are more than 10 minutes late for this treatment, it is likely your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
Anti-wrinkle injections
Before booking, make sure you’ve considered the below information:
- If this is your first treatment for anti-wrinkle injections at our salon, a separate consultation is required prior to your treatment. Let us know when calling and we’ll schedule both appointments.
- Avoid drinking alcohol or taking ibuprofen at least 24 hours before your treatment.
- This treatment cannot be carried out if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you suffer from an autoimmune disease, you will not be eligible to have this treatment.
- You may be slightly more sensitive and more prone to swelling or bruising during your menstrual cycle.
Dermal Fillers
Before booking, make sure you’ve considered the below information:
- A £20 deposit is required when booking.
- We ask for a minimum of 48hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- Please avoid drinking alcohol or taking Ibuprofen at least 24 hours before your treatment.
- This treatment cannot be carried out if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Lash extensions
Before booking in for this treatment, review the information below:
- A £20 deposit is needed to secure your booking.
- We ask that you give us at least 48hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- A patch test is needed at least 48 hours before your treatment if you are new to our salon, having lash extensions for the first time, or you haven’t had lash extensions for over 3 months. If you do not have your patch test, unfortunately, we will not be able to perform the treatment on the day.
- You must be 16 years or over to have this treatment.
- Please inform us if you have any medical conditions (including anything within the past 5 years).
- You will not be eligible for this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Please inform us if you suffer from any allergies, watery eyes or eye infections.
On the day of your treatment:
- Do not wear eye makeup or mascara on the day and avoid wearing waterproof mascara for 24 hours before your appointment.
- Avoid getting a spray tan and make sure any guide tan has been thoroughly washed off the eye area.
- Avoid applying oily products on your lashes and around your eyes.
- Contact lenses must be the day before your treatment.
- Avoid drinking caffeine for a few hours before treatment.
LVL lash lift
Before booking, let us know if you answer ‘yes’ to any of the following:
- Are you under the age of 16?
- Are you pregnant or breastfeeding?
- Do you suffer from watery eyes, allergies or have an eye infection?
A patch test will be required a minimum of 24 hours before your treatment if you are new to our salon, having LVL for the first time, or you haven’t had an LVL treatment for over 3 months. If you haven’t had this patch test, we will not be able to perform the treatment on the day.
HD Brows, Brow tinting, Fluffy brows
Before booking in for this treatment, review the information below:
- A patch test is required a minimum of 24 hours before your treatment if you are new to the salon, having HD brows for the first time, or you haven’t had a HD brow treatment for over 3 months. If you haven’t had this patch test, we won’t be able to perform the treatment on the day.
- You must be 16 years or over to have this treatment.
- If pregnant, you must be past the first trimester.
- Let us know about any allergies or medical conditions, including any you’ve had in the past 5 years.
- For some medical conditions, a doctor’s note may be required eg. if you have diabetes or are undergoing chemotherapy/radiation.
- You must be 6 months clear of any acne medication/creams such as Roaccutane, retinols, steroid creams or any medications that thin the blood such as Warfarin.
In the lead up to your treatment:
- For any facial waxing, make sure you don’t have Botox for at least 14 days beforehand, or any fillers at least one month before your appointment.
- Steer clear of laser treatments on the area for 7 days before and after treatment.
- Don’t use any products containing AHA’s retinol or glycolic acid for 7 days prior to your treatment if your treatment involves facial waxing.
- Avoid sun exposure, including sunbeds, for 24 hours before and after treatment.
- Be aware waxing will remove fake tan in the area. Wait at least 24-48 hours after waxing to apply fake tan.
Dermaplaning, Crystal Clear, Microneedling, Mesotherapy, Million Dollar and Alumier Peels
- You must be 18 years or above to have this treatment.
- A £20 deposit is required to secure your appointment.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, allow a minimum of 48hrs notice.
- You must be 6 months clear of any acne medication/creams such as Roaccutane, Retinol or steroid creams.
- Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions, including anything in the past 5 years.
- We ask that you tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
In the lead up to your treatment:
- For 7 days before and after treatment, don’t use any products containing AHAs, Retinol, glycolic acid or exfoliators.
- Also avoid facial waxing, laser hair removal, electrolysis or threading in the area for 7 days before and after treatment.
- Do not use Botox 14 days before and fillers 1 month before treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure, including sunbeds, for up to 14 days before and after treatment. (Please consult your therapist)
- Contact lenses will need to be removed before treatment so remember to bring a pair of glasses if required.
- We recommend you purchase the AlumierMD aftercare kit at a cost of £12.00 to protect your skin and enhance the results.
Lipocontrast or Cellulite treatment
Before booking, let us know if you answer ‘yes’ to any of the following:
- Do you suffer from any medical conditions or have you had any serious medical conditions in the last 5 years?
- Do you have any scars, tattoos or piercings in the area?
- Are you more than 3 stone above your healthy BMI?
- Are you pregnant or breastfeeding?
A £20 deposit is required to secure your appointment and we ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
Waxing
Before booking in for this treatment, please consider the information below:
- Clients aged 13-16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the whole treatment duration.
- Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions, including those in the past 5 years.
- For some medical conditions, a doctor’s note may be required eg. if you have diabetes or are undergoing chemotherapy/radiation.
- You must be 6 months clear of any acne medication/creams such as Roaccutane, retinols, steroid creams or any medications that thin the blood such as Warfarin.
- If you are pregnant, we ask that you wait until you are past the first trimester.
In the lead up to your treatment:
- For facial waxing, don’t use any products containing AHAs, Retinol, glycolic acid or exfoliators for 7 days before and after treatment. Also avoid Botox for 14 days and fillers for 1 month before treatment.
- We ask that you delay any laser treatments on the area for 7 days before and after treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure, including sunbeds, for 48 hours before and after treatment.
- For body waxing, we recommend you wear loose clothing on the area being waxed.
- Be aware that waxing will remove any fake tan. And tan should only be applied to the skin 24-48 hrs after waxing.
Eyelash and Eyebrow tinting
Before booking in for this treatment, review the information below:
- A patch test is required a minimum of 24 hours before your treatment if you are new to the salon or you haven’t had an eyelash or eyebrow tint for over 3 months. If you haven’t had this patch test, we won’t be able to perform the treatment on the day.
- You must be 16 years or older to have this treatment.
- If pregnant, you must be past the first trimester.
- Let us know about any allergies or medical conditions, including any you’ve had in the past 5 years.
- If you are using any advanced skincare products prescribed by a nurse/doctor, we ask that you check with your prescriber with regards to tinting.
In the lead up to your treatment:
- Do not wear eye makeup or mascara on the day of your appointment and avoid wearing waterproof mascara for 24 hours prior to your appointment for eyelash tinting.
- Be aware the tint can react with fake tan and turn a green/brown colour. We recommended 24 – 48 hours after tinting to apply fake tan.
- Avoid applying oily products on your lashes/brows and around your eyes.
- Contact lenses must be removed prior to the treatment for eyelash tinting. Remember to bring a spare pair of glasses if needed.
- Please avoid caffeine for several hours before eyelash tinting treatments.
